Booking Information

We release three months at a time for lunch & dinner reservations, online through our website, on a first come first serve basis. 


Credit card details are required to secure your reservation. We are now taking a €50 per person deposit for tables of 5 and more. The deposit will be deducted from your final bill and will be refunded if bookings are cancelled within the agreed cancellation time. As a small restaurant, we can no longer afford the impact on our business of no-shows. We apologise for any inconvenience and hope you can understand.

Deposit is used if the booking is not cancelled within the agreed cancellation time or not showing up for dinner. Full price of the menu will be charged to any missing guest of the party if not let known in advance.

CHILDREN POLICY:

Children from the age of 6 are welcome for lunch and from the age of 12 for dinner. We do not offer a kids menu and the menu is not designed to be shared between adults and children. 

If a child is not having dinner, the full price of the menu will still be charged for the sitting. 

In order to respect the service and our customers experience we do ask you to respect the age limit. 

Dinner experience cannot be sped up because the child is tired or bored.

Opening Hours

Dinner: Thursday & Friday – 6pm to 8.30pm
Saturday & Sunday – 6.30pm to 8.30pm
Lunch: Saturday & Sunday- 12.30pm to 2pm
Note: Please note that we are close from the 6th to the 29th of January.

Table Size

We offer out tables for 1 – 8 guests with a table for eight guests being the largest that we currently offer. Please note that we do not offer kids menu and tasting menus are not to share.

How to Book

  1. Choose your desired date and time
  2. Enter your contact details
  3. Insert Credit/Debit Card to secure booking (All bookings require card details to confirm your reservation)
  4. We are now requiring a 50€ deposit per person for booking of 5 and more. 
  5. Confirm booking
  6. Your booking is confirmed once you receive an e-mail confirmation from “Homestead Cottage via Res Diary”.
  7. Your booking is confirmed once you receive an e-mail confirmation from “Homestead Cottage via Res Diary”. Should you not receive an e-mail, check your spam folder first. If no confirmation is found in the spam folder, please e-mail Sophie at reservation@homesteadcottage.com

Private Hire

We can cater for a maximum of 32 guests and are willing to tailor menus and wine choices to your requirements.

Cancellation Policy

Please note, should you cancel your reservation with us within 48 hours ( table of 1 to 5 guests), or a week for table of 5 and more, of your allocated reservation or fail to show up, €90pp for lunch and €125pp for dinner, will be charged to the credit card used to secure the table.
